Ellis has a keen eye for design having worked in content creation and design for over 5 years. Fairham Gin has benefitted from Ellis’ experience, with the brand design, bottle look, social media coverage and everything else in between coming from his creativity.

Ellis enjoys an ice cold Ochre Edition with Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water in a tall glass finished with a fresh orange slice.

Background
Liam has been in sales for over five years and uses his skills to look over the business elements of Fairham Gin. From accounting, licensing, dealing with trade and couriers, he is the go-to man for all things operations and will talk the leg off a donkey!

Liam loves a Signature Edition over lots of ice with Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water (not quite the full bottle) and no garnish.

About The Brand

Fairham Gin is named after our home address in Penwortham, just on the outskirts of Preston in Lancashire, the place where we created the foundations of the recipe behind our Signature Edition gin. With being avid gin lovers and having had our fair share of G&Ts, we wanted to make our mark in the craft gin industry and create a ‘proper’ gin with a modern influence.

Creating our own gin has always been in the works, with 2020 giving us much more time to be able to fine tune our passion project. Back in March 2020 when it all began, at the ages of 24 and 25, we were thought to be two of the UK’s youngest gin distillers and after a long but very enjoyable 12 months of market research, brand designing and a lot of gin tasting, Fairham Gin released it’s Signature Edition craft gin in April 2021. This is our take on a traditional craft gin that allows the juniper to shine through whilst complimenting it with fresh citrus layers.

truly handcrafted

The word ‘handcrafted’ gets used a lot in the gin industry, but as a two-man team we pride ourselves on being truly handcrafted and are both involved in all processes of making our craft gin.

From peeling and dehydrating fruits to labelling all of our bottles by hand, every process that leads to you enjoying a lovely G&T is done by us. Our craft gin is 100% vapour infused in our 60ltr copper pot still that is prepped and managed by us two at our small distillery in Lancashire.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that as gin distillers, we want to make sure that the juniper is the star of the show. Gin has lost it’s way a little bit, with a lot crossing the boundary into a flavoured spirit.

In our pre-experimental chats we always discuss how we can enhance the juniper rather than overpowering it and this will always remain as an important aspect for us and our Dry Lancashire Gin. Let’s celebrate the main ingredient of what gin should be; the juniper.

Being from sales and marketing backgrounds, we both bring something different to the Fairham Gin brand and have built our ethos on being distinctively different to anything else on the market.

100% vapour infusion, being non-chill filtered and many other aspects of our distilling process, such as using exotic fruits in our Signature Edition, are all thoroughly thought out in our research stages. We assure you, you won’t have tried another gin like ours!
