Released in November 2021, Ochre Edition is our first 'flavour'. Not a flavour as you know it, still juniper-foward and boasting an all-natural complex taste like no other.

our bestseller for
a reason
Still true to juniper, this is our expression of an orange spiced gin. Our aim was to show that you can produce a stunningly good flavoured gin using all-natural ingredients. Orange and clementine are the stars of the show, but they are only one part of the puzzle.
A tarty juniper-forward base, complimented with fresh authentic orange and sweet clementine, with subtle notes of carefully blended spices.

how do we distill ochre?
We 100% vapour infuse our 14 Ochre botanicals, using every bit of the fruit in our distilling recipe. All botanicals sit above the neutral grain spirit in a basket held in the column of the copper still.
This method proved to be best in extracting the fresh, authentic, flavours and smells from fruits, which are picked up by the vapour as the still is heated up.
Vapour travels down the swan neck and into the condenser unit, turning back into liquid and voila, we have some tasty gin!
And that’s it, no flavourings or sugars added afterwards titling it a one-shot distilling method. All we do after this is water down to 45% ABV bottle strength and then it’s yours to enjoy.

let’s get making!
perfect g&t
Oh, Ochre! Serve a 50ml measure of Ochre Edition over ice, pair with Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic – we like to use around 150ml. For garnish we think a fresh orange slice works perfectly.
no tonic?
Ginger sensation. Is tonic not for you? Well, serve 50ml Ochre Edition over ice and pair with Fever-Tree Ginger Ale to release the aromatic side of the gin. Garnish with a fresh orange or ginger slice and enjoy.
cocktail
It’s a special one. We like to call this the Ochroni, our take on the classic negroni. Equal measures of Ochre, Aperol and Sweet Red Vermouth. Serve as it is or top with a mixer to make it long. Orange peel garnish.
