20th November is the day we finally get to celebrate the launch of our Ochre Edition; a fresh orange and clementine twist on a traditional juniper-forward gin, layered with warming spices.
Join us at Hurst Grange Park Coach House as we host an evening full of gin, live music and celebration. This will be our first event as a distillery and after missing out on the launch of our Signature Edition due to Covid-19, we couldn’t be more excited to spend an evening with you all! With tickets now on sale, we wanted to give you a run down on what to expect on the evening.
With a 6:30pm start, guests arriving will be met at our No.1 Fairham Gin branded gazebo at the entrance of the Coach House, this is where names from the guest list will be taken and vouchers given so you can get inside and enjoy your complimentary first drink.
The Coach House on Hurst Grange park is newly renovated and was the perfect match as we were looking for a venue for our launch. The modern style mixed with traditional stature is fantastic and once you enter, you’ll see the magnificent job that has been done to restore the building.
The bar for the event will be located in the Coach House Café, where for your first free drink you will be able to choose from lager, cider, prosecco and of course, our Signature Edition gin. Tea and coffee is also available for free all evening, with discounted prices on the alcohol selection for the duration, including our Ochre Edition after the official tasting. To add to this, the team from the café are also providing a range of canapés which will be served throughout the evening. The selection on offer include mini Yorkshire puddings with beef brisket, horseradish and micro herbs and whipped goats cheese with fig jam and crouton, to name a few (delicious!). Vegan & gluten-free available.
We will be joined on the evening by local artists Millie Mac and Adam Williams who will be situated in the stunning glass canopy area of the Coach House. This part of the building is most impressive, giving off amazing Mediterranean vibes (but in a slightly colder climate!). Not to worry, heaters and pontoon lighting will distract you from the weather and the talented duo will keep us entertained all evening, we couldn’t be more excited to have them join us for such a special event.
Once everyone has settled in after enjoying their first complimentary drink, guests will then be treated to an official ‘meet the makers’ talk from us – Ellis and Liam. We will be telling you all about our journey and most importantly, our Ochre Edition. As we do so, you will be given the first official tasting of the new Edition with Fever-Tree Premium Tonic. We know you gin enthusiasts like to try neat first, so not to worry, this option will be available before mixing with your tonic.
The rest of the evening is to then to be enjoyed as you wish. Do you have any burning questions that you might want to ask us? Well don’t be shy, come and chat! This is an evening for us to interact with you, open our distillery to the public and finally put names to faces as we meet in person to celebrate our new Edition.
Not only will you be the first trying our Ochre Edition, but you will also have the chance to purchase the first batches of it if you decide you like it (disclaimer: you will!). We will also have Signature Edition bottles with us on the evening, so as an event special, we will have discounted prices on them all – what’s not to love!
